Bruntwood have made a commitment to create ‘smart, healthy, sustainable’ buildings as their standard offering. One crucial aspect they have realised is the ongoing monitoring of air quality - both to inform their customers and to maintain their WELL accreditations.

The problem is that whilst ‘smart building providers’ can provide the sensors, they need a deeper understanding of what’s going on in their spaces that can affect environment quality.

We have worked with Bruntwood on their first WELL certified space, 111 Piccadilly in the heart of Manchester. Our service was to supply & install a network of 3rd party verified air quality monitors, collate, analyse and report the data.

We have also taken on some of the more technical aspects of maintaining certain WELL features.

Bruntwood now have air quality experts ‘on-tap’ to troubleshoot potential IAQ issues whilst they are happening.

This has resulted in a number of interventions being made which, left unchecked would have caused issues for the continued award of the Platinum WELL rating.
